Job Objective
The Tax Senior CPA provides accurate tax preparation and advisory services while building strong client relationships. With 1 to 4 years of experience, this role focuses on developing technical skills, applying sound judgment, and supporting the firm's mission of delivering personalized, high-value service.
Job Responsibilities
- Client Service
- Prepare and review Federal, State, and Local tax returns
- Assist with tax research and planning projects
- Support clients in business planning and analysis
- Practice Development
- Identify opportunities to provide value-added services
- Deliver timely updates on tax and business issues
- Administrative/Practice Management
- Support partners in practice management activities
- Learn and apply the firm's accounting technology platforms
- Personal Development/Management
- Stay current on tax law and accounting updates
- Maintain CPE as required by state regulations
Education/Training/Experience
- EA or CPA license required or in process or Equivalent Experience
- 1 to 4 years of experience in public accounting
- Familiarity with integrated tax/accounting software solutions
